Developing a luxury one-bedroom apartment prototype, made to look and feel like a tent.

“This was a fun project. The developers had a great vision, and it was exciting to be a part of the project including the creation of a one-piece 14m long piece of fibreglass/composite roof shaped like a tent fly.”

This was a prototype development that was eventually rolled out for luxury guest accommodation, on the edges of the course and within the dunes of the world-class Tara Iti golf course.

Project Management

Assisted Tara Iti and Darby Partners in obtaining building consent for their unique project and supported the client with their proposed large-scale residential development.

Contract Management

Supervised the commissioning and manufacture of the composite roof components and supported the client’s team to devise a delivery methodology via barge.

Procurement & Installation

Supported the builder to source and connect with capable local contractors to drive test piles and later permanent piling.
