An award-winning Senior Project Manager, Ben is known for his big-picture thinking. With over two decades’ construction industry experience in New Zealand and Australia, Ben has worked across a range of different construction management disciplines. Now Managing Director here at Scope, Ben combines a unique mix of project vision, people skills, and industry reputation.
Recently awarded the 2021 NZIOB Industry Award for his project management work on the Mokau Marae rebuild project in Whangārei, Ben has a number of high profile projects under his belt – from the Hundertwasser Art Centre to the Bay of Islands Hospital redevelopment and many school classrooms across Northland. Ben’s experience extends to large-scale construction projects, including luxury residential subdivisions, high-rise construction, and iron ore handling and ship loading facilities. As a Senior Project Manager, Ben has been involved in the management of feasibility studies and investigations, funding applications, and funding reporting.
