“In my many years of experience in office administration, finances, general management and project administration, I have taken on a variety of roles that range from Office Manager and Director of a local construction company to Founding Director, Project Administrator, and Financial Controller at Scope. I am proud of the contributions our Scope Team have made to the growth of our Te Tai Tokerau Region and am looking forward to what’s to come. Now part-time, I’m planning my next adventure - You could say I’m always excited about the next adventure!”

As one of Scope’s Founding Directors, Heather’s passion for project management lies in the process of taking project ideas on paper and contributing to the development of those ideas into treasured places for our community to come together and enjoy. She is inspired by the development of Whangārei into a vibrant city and is proud of the contributions that Scope’s Team have made to the development of Te Tai Tokerau Northland.

Heather has 30+ years’ experience in a variety of business and project management roles. Over the course of her career with Griffiths & Associates—now Scope—she has developed and overseen many 10 Year Property Plans (10YPPs) for the Ministry of Education and has administered the rollout of many of the projects in these plans. Heather’s friendly, calm, and hardworking nature and keen eye for detail helps keeps the business well on track.
