“Seeing a project progress through all stages of planning and construction is a rewarding part of what we do at Scope. In my role as a Quantity Surveyor I’m often involved in our client’s projects from start to finish. In the early stages we provide cost forecasts, help with funding applications and work with the client, consultants and Scope’s project managers to value engineer a project to fit within budget constraints. Throughout the project we then give detailed cost estimates, manage variations and control all cost elements of the project on behalf of our clients.”

Detail oriented with an in-depth understanding of construction processes and associated costs, Kamron is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with knowledge across a range of industries. Kamron’s experience is varied, having worked in quantity surveying, estimating and cost controlling across the construction, civil and oil and gas industries in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK.

Kamron is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and he has experience working as a nominated quantity surveyor for ANZ and Westpac banks. Kamron’s industrial experience includes estimator on the installation of a gas gathering network with 90km HDPE gas and water lines in Queensland, Australia; estimator on the installation of a 44km underground collection system connecting wind turbines in British Columbia, Canada; and estimator on the installation of 180km line pipe and fibre optic cable in South Australia. After returning to New Zealand Kamron has worked on a range of projects including project manager and quantity surveyor on Keith Andrews Trucks Mercedes in Whangarei, quantity surveyor on Northland Regional Council and Kaipara District Council’s Kaipara Service Centre, and quantity surveyor on One Riverside Apartments in Whangarei.
