Project description
Development of a new radiology and emergency department along with a new general and paediatrics ward

A new two storey building with accident and emergency along with radiology on the ground floor and a general ward with specific pediatrics suite on the top floor. Physically connected into the existing hospital. Works also included infrastructure upgrades, relocating the ambulance road/docking bay and moving the helicopter landing site.

Project Management

Our project manager and project director worked closely with the operations team to ensure operations weren't interrupted. They also worked in with end-user groups incorporating their requirements into the design.

Health & Safety

We managed independent safety auditing and a Safety in Design (SiDs) review on the project along with supporting accident reporting and management.

Contract Management

Our engineer to the contract managed the ECI procurement process and contract variations through to final account.

Procurement & Installation

We championed and designed an Early Contractor Involvement process that me procurement requirements safely for our client, optimising the relationship with the contractor.
