Built in 2013, Te Matau ā Pohe, a unique, iconic bridge with a rolling bascule 265m fixed bridge span with 25m opening section. 1.2km of 2 lane carriageway, 2 double roundabouts and 1 single roundabout.

Value $32.2m. Construction period 18 months. Delivered by way of Early Contractor Involvement backed up by a Partnering Charter.

 

This bridge has won a number of international and national awards for excellence in design and construction.
