The Kaipara Service Centre is an innovative office building designed to co-house the Kaipara District Council and the Northland Regional Council, with smaller government agencies as sub tenants. The project will revolutionize how future council buildings are built with high efficiencies being derived from the co-location model. The project will also improve ratepayers access to services, allowing for more efficient engagements. The project encompasses the Northland Regional Councils sustainability objectives with the building utilizing smart environmentally sustainable design principals and an extensive solar bank and EV charging facilities for the vehicle fleet.

The Scope team managed the Design, Bid, Build project from first pencil on paper to handover of the keys, working closely with Northland Regional Council and the main contractor.

Facilitated the design process, with the Architect leading the design team through design stages to construction completion.

Establishing and managing the contract between the client and main contractor.

Cost estimation and detailed cost reporting throughout the project.
